Our Story

AppWT Web & AI Solutions began as Tony Paris’s practice in Flint, Michigan in 1997, has operated under the AppWT name since 2005, and incorporated in Michigan as AppWT LLC in 2020. It is headquartered in Livonia. What began as a one-person web development operation has grown into a comprehensive technology company serving clients across four continents.

From the beginning, our mission has been clear: deliver luxury-quality digital solutions at accessible prices. We believe that excellent technology should be available to businesses of all sizes, not just enterprise corporations with massive budgets.

Since the practice began in 1997, we have kept our founding principle: "Under-promise, Over-deliver." This commitment to exceeding expectations while maintaining ethical business practices has earned us BBB A+ accreditation since 2022 with zero complaints closed in the last three years.

Our Founder’s Regulated-Systems Record

Alongside the practice, Tony Paris has spent 16 years inside regulated industries. From June 2017 to March 2026 he supported cloud infrastructure and JusticeTech for TrueFiling and MiFile, the government court e-filing systems built on Hyland OnBase (ImageSoft, i3 Verticals). From 2010 to 2017 he worked in specialty-pharmacy systems for oncology, fertility and autoimmune therapies at Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy, finishing as Special Operations Advisor. Today he also provides cloud infrastructure and platform engineering for a bot-mitigation SaaS platform. He has served on the Board of Directors of JCI Michigan and as Past President of the Westland Area Jaycees.
